The official site says factory tours and tasting are normally available at any time, but the same page states that they are suspended owing to the continuing effects of COVID-19, along with the wine study sessions and the barbecue area (as posted in August 2026). Contact the winery on 055-277-2805 to check whether they have resumed. The barbecue area requires booking and costs 500 yen per person plus 700 yen for hotplate and charcoal (up to 10 per table). Vine-owner and barrel-owner schemes are offered.
A winery in Kamezawa, Kai City, Yamanashi, with a roughly 10-hectare estate vineyard on the southern slopes of Mt. Kayagatake at 550-640 m. The family farmed here from the Edo period, switched to grapes about 60 years ago and obtained a production licence in 1985. It uses only its own fruit, with no bought-in grapes or imported wine blended, growing 14 varieties from pergola-trained Koshu, Kyoho and Delaware to trellised Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, and makes about 30 labels. Seven employees.
