Privacy Policy

We collect only the following.

• If you create an account: the identifier passed to us by the service you signed in with (LINE, Google or Apple), and the display name you choose.
• If you post: the content of the post (text, photos, rating), the time of posting, and the IP address and port number used. The IP address and port are stored so that we can respond to rights-infringement requests as the law requires; they are never displayed.
• Your “visited / want to go” records: which winery, which mark, when, and whether it was recorded on site.

Your location is never sent to our servers. It does not leave your device.

We ask your browser for your location only when you use “Wineries near you”. The latitude and longitude are used on your device to work out distances to nearby wineries, and are not retained afterwards. Nobody, including us, can see them.

The “Recorded on site” mark sends only the true/false result of that calculation to our server. Where you were is not sent.

Your “visited / want to go” records are saved first in your browser's localStorage. If you are signed in, they are also saved on our server so you can use them across devices. If you use the site without signing in, the records stay only on that device.

Deleting your account deletes your posts and records from our server. Records left on your device can be removed by clearing your browser data.

This site uses the following third-party services.

• Google Maps — Used to display maps, ratings and reviews. Displaying a map causes your browser to communicate with Google. Google Privacy Policy
• Vercel — Used to host and serve this site. Access logs are recorded. Vercel Privacy Policy
• We use LINE, Google and Apple for sign-in. What those services pass to us is an identifier for you and, if you consent to providing it, your email address. We never receive your password.

Google ratings and reviews are fetched each time they are displayed and are not stored on our servers.

This site carries no advertising and uses no cookies or analytics tools for behavioural tracking. If you sign in, we use a cookie to keep you signed in.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, please contact us at the address below. You can also delete your account and posts yourself.
