Japan Winery Map aims to list every winery in Japan. Here is what we can help with — adding your winery, correcting details, publishing photos and events, and more.
About this site
We currently list 660 wineries, 325 of which have a confirmed street address and visit information. This is a personal project; we have no capital relationship or advertising contract with any winery listed.
- ・Every item shows a source URL and the date we last confirmed it
- ・Items we cannot confirm are marked “unconfirmed” rather than guessed
- ・Listing order is not determined by ratings or payment
Listing is free. We charge no listing or advertising fees, and payment does not change your position or treatment.
What we can do
Add my winery
Tell us about a winery that is not listed. We will check the official site and add it. New openings, relocations and name changes are welcome too.
Request a listingSomething is wrong
Tell us about errors in opening hours, tours, grape varieties, founding year and so on. We will verify against sources, correct it, and update the confirmation date.
Request a correctionPublish our photos
You can provide photos of the winery, vineyards or shop. We credit the photographer and rights holder. We will replace or remove them on request.
Ask about photosTell us about an event
Harvest festivals, open days, new-release tastings. We list them for the relevant period. When to go is important information for visitors.
Tell us about an eventCome and interview us
We would like to hear from the makers about the vineyards and what is particular to your place, and write it up. Listing data alone does not convey everything.

- Does listing cost anything?
- No. We charge no listing or advertising fees, and payment does not change your position or treatment.
- Who writes the listings?
- We do, by checking primary sources such as official websites. Every item shows a source URL and the date we last confirmed it; items we could not confirm are marked “unconfirmed”.
- Can you remove a user comment?
- Please contact us about content that is untrue or infringes your rights. Where it is clear we remove it promptly; where we cannot judge we ask the author first. The procedure is in our Terms of Use.
- Will we appear in the English version?
- Yes. Items with no English translation are shown in Japanese (for information you use on site, that is more useful). Send us an English description and we will use it.
