A distillery in Ishigaki, Okinawa. Founded in 1955 as an awamori maker, it obtained a liqueur licence (habu-shu) in 1960 and a sweet fruit-wine licence in 1982. Its fruit wine is Painappuru Wain, made by fermenting juice from Okinawa-grown pineapples (11% ABV, 500 ml). No grape wine production has been confirmed. The plant, completed in 1991 on a hill overlooking the Yaeyama islands, offers tours and tasting by reservation.
