A winery in Echizenhama, Nishikan Ward, Niigata City, on sandy land between Mt. Kakuda and the Sea of Japan. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were planted in 2007, the company was established in 2009, and winemaking began in 2012. Alongside estate fruit it uses contract-grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Muscat Bailey A from Yahiko, making unfiltered natural wines. The name refers to the snails living in its vineyard.
