Le bois d’azur is a winery run by Aoki Vineyard in Kamiyokoba, Tsukuba, Ibaraki. Tsukuba City says representative Makoto Aoki founded it after returning to Japan in 2020 and released its first wine from estate Kyoho grapes in 2023. The official site says grape growing began in 2020 and describes cultivation without chemical fertilizers, insecticides, or herbicides, followed by native-yeast fermentation without acidification, chaptalization, filtration, fining, or sulfur dioxide. Its products include a 100% Kyoho red and a 100% Himrod white.
