Tours with tasting at the Yasato Distillery (1310-1 Sugama, Ishioka) require advance booking and cost 2,000 yen (about 35 min of the production process plus about 25 min tasting three whiskies); a Sunday-only blending experience (about 120 min) costs 10,000 yen. The visitor centre is open 10:00-17:00, closed Tuesdays (open on public holidays). The Naka head shop (1257 Konosu) is open 10:00-18:30, with its tasting counter 10:00-17:00. Sake cellar tours are suspended during renovation, though shop purchases and tasting continue. A hands-on beer brewing workshop operates at the Konosu cellar.

An Ibaraki drinks producer founded in 1823, making sake, beer (Hitachino Nest), whisky and plum wine as well as wine. It runs tours of its Yasato Distillery, a hands-on brewing workshop, and several directly operated shops.
