The on-site shop Shuyukan covers about 500 square metres and has tasting counters (both free and paid) and a gallery space; open 9:30-18:00, daily. The adjoining sasaichi krand cafe is open 11:00-16:00 Monday to Friday and 10:00-16:00 weekends and holidays (L.O. 15:30), daily. The official site says nothing about tours of the brewery or winery.
A brewery in Sasago, Otsuki City, Yamanashi. Founded in 1661 as Hanadaya, it was consolidated and renamed Sasaichi Shuzo in 1919 by first-generation owner Hisashi Amano. It brews with Gozensui, groundwater originating on Mt. Fuji. Its wine brand OLIFANT was launched in 1953, centred on Koshu, and from 2006 it began growing European varieties such as Chardonnay and Syrah at its own vineyard in Toyotomi, Chuo City. The site includes the Shuyukan shop and a cafe.
