Four wines are always available to taste at the shop. The tasting is run as a charity, with visitors asked to donate to an animal-protection fund; no fixed fee is stated. Open 9:00-17:00 with irregular closing days. The cellar is the original 1933 building, repaired and extended over the years, and the estate vineyards in Makioka cover about 1.2 ha including plots still being prepared.

Founded in 1933 in Makioka, Yamanashi City, this winery works with Koshu and Muscat Bailey A as well as field blends co-fermenting multiple European varieties. It is also known for its cat-label wines and farmer-support wines.
