If you are driving, please do not taste. Japan has a zero-tolerance drink-driving law.

Winery tours require a reservation by web or phone. They last 30-40 minutes, run at 11:00 and 14:00, and take up to 20 people; after touring the vineyard and cellar, a tasting of three wines costs 1,100 yen. The adjoining shop Bottega offers free tasting at its counter, with premium wines available for a fee. Groups of 10 or more use a separate enquiry form. Pets are not allowed.

A winery in Kakizawa, Shiojiri City, Nagano. It grows Merlot, Syrah and Chardonnay on about 3.3 hectares and targets 100,000 bottles a year. On site are a tasting room and Bottega, an Italian shop and restaurant.
