If you are driving, please do not taste. Japan has a zero-tolerance drink-driving law.

The winery does not offer winery or vineyard tours so staff can focus on the vineyards, and does not accept group tours by bus or van. Paid tasting and sales take place in a tasting room converted from a century-old wine cellar; weekend reservations are recommended. Only wine is sold, limited to one bottle per label per party.

A winery in Obuse, Kamitakai District, Nagano, founded by Ichinojo Soga, which began production under a fruit-wine licence in 1942, initially making cider. From 1995 it expanded plantings of European varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and its trellised estate vineyards are farmed under the Domaine Sogga name. Since 2004 it has refrained from entering overseas competitions.
