About this region
The National Tax Agency's 2025 survey counts two wineries in Tokushima, making it a very small production area. In the agency's 2023 survey, the prefecture's two wineries took in a combined 13 tonnes of domestically grown fresh grapes for wine, recorded as 5 tonnes of Delaware, 2 tonnes of Merlot and 6 tonnes of other varieties.
