Brewery tours are charged and require a reservation by telephone or email, for up to five or six people. Visits by minors unaccompanied are not accepted.

Umetsu Shuzo is a sake brewery founded in the first year of the Keio era. Since the 2005 brewing year, it has stopped adding distilled alcohol, and all of its sake is made only from rice and rice koji sourced from contracted farmers in Tottori. Its main products include the sake Furei, the well-aged plum liqueur Nohana, desert yam shochu, Yuzu Kakumei, and the pear wine pairs'. The ingredients for its shochu, liqueurs, and wine are also sourced from Tottori Prefecture.
