A wine cellar run by Fukumitsu Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. in Oasa, Kitahiroshima, Hiroshima. Founded in 1933, the company stopped making sake in 2006, but the fourth-generation owner, a great-grandson of the founder, revived it in April 2019 under a special-zone licence to make doburoku and wine. Vines were planted from 2016 on a 450 m plateau about five minutes from the brewery, mainly Shokoshi and Yama Sauvignon. Wine is made inside the 140-year-old sake brewery, with foot crushing, a hand-operated basket press and a Hiroshima-original sake yeast.
